Prerequisites
The FSU MBA is a general business degree designed for working professionals with extensive work experience or individuals who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their previous academic work. Admission is competitive and all applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and submit a GMAT (preferred) or GRE score demonstrating strong analytical and verbal skills. Previous coursework in business, however, is not required. The College of Business typically admits applicants who have a minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience, an upper-division undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0, a minimum total score of 550 on the GMAT, or a GRE minimum of 530 on the verbal scale and 710 on the quantitative scale for the old exam, with a minimum of 156 on each subsection on the revised GRE, taken within the last five years. Applicants also must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on the upper division coursework.
Application Procedures
The College of Business application, official GMAT or GRE score(s) and, if applicable, a copy of TOEFL/IELTS score(s), applicant statement essay responses, an up-to-date resume which clearly indicates work experience, including dates and positions held, and two letters of recommendation from your supervisor and/or a professor must be submitted to the College of Business.
Fees
