The Chang School’s Certificate in Health Services Management is the first of its kind in Canada at an undergraduate level. It is specifically designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals who now hold, or wish to hold, management positions in health services organizations. It is an excellent stepping stone to the degree completion program in Health Services Management.
The Certificate in Health Services Management will:
educate health practitioners so that they can assume entry- or middle-level management responsibilities in the provision of appropriate, cost-effective, client-centered health services, in institutional and community settings;
facilitate the personal and professional development of managers who will contribute to the evolution of multidisciplinary, holistic health communities;
build a broad understanding of political, social, economic, ethical, cultural, and technological factors that shape health and health systems; and/or
provide a basis for entry into advanced or graduate studies.
