An update shouldn't reset your settings. I updated the app, and my phone stopped ringing. Several hours later, I discovered I had a bunch of missed calls. The calls were now being forwarded to my email. Why? Because the update reset it that way. Why would you forward a call to email? If it sent an email notice of missed calls and messages,

I seriously love GV and haven't went without it for years. The new GV has some perks like pictures, emoticons, and being able to see your entire past conversation history but I'll be more than happy to give that all up for the legacy GV. I don't need to see an entire history of conversation from years ago. I don't care for pictures on the app as

I have been an exclusive GV user since 2009 and was tolerant of no group txt & lack of MMS support. Now, the interface is not user friendly and full of bugs. 1) app ALWAYS crashes when I search or attempt to use the dial pad - this means I cannot call or txt on the fly- has to be with a recent contact 2) is super slow 3) when I select a message
