GPS Satellite Vehicle Tracking System

The GPS Equipment Tracker is a passive pure satellite vehicle-tracking device offering three distinct modes of tracking, customized to your business's needs. This satellite tracking system improves the chances of recovering stolen assets, provides depot-to-depot tracking and can update as often as six times per day with standard GPS tracking.

NetTrack, Track Your Truck’s powerful vehicle tracking application, is included with every purchase of a GPS satellite tracking system. NetTrack improves fleet management with an easy-to-use, Web-based mapping interface that collects location data from all your vehicles.

GPS Satellite Vehicle Tracking Systems

A satellite vehicle tracking software system is the ultimate solution for managing your company vehicles or assets wherever they go. Pure satellite GPS truck tracking offers detailed reporting and real-time GPS updates for company fleets that operate in areas where there is no cellular coverage. No matter where your vehicles go, you can keep track of their location, speed, direction heading and more. With accurate vehicle statuses, you can manage and improve your business.

Pure satellite tracking is more commonly used than GPS cellular tracking for vehicles that travel in less than adequate cellular coverage areas. It is an ideal option for companies that operate in remote areas.

Passive satellite asset tracking is also popular. Passive satellite asset tracking systems allow for infrequent, periodic data transfer. Depending on the device, GPS updates can be as frequent as every two minutes when connected to a power source, or between one and six updates per day when using the GPS unit’s internal battery.

Simple Satellite Tracking Systems You Can Trust

Track Your Truck only offers passive asset tracking satellite solutions in conjunction with its Premium Live GPS tracking. We deliver GPS units fully tested, certified and activated. All you have to do is open the box, affix the unit and start tracking your fleet! Our staff is committed to matching your business with a cost-effective vehicle tracking solution.

Our passive tracking devices are completely waterproof and sealed for exterior mounting as well as certified by major cell carriers for top line reliability. Antennas are concealed internally to prevent breakage.

NetTrack, Track Your Truck’s powerful vehicle tracking application, is included with every purchase of a GPS satellite tracking system. NetTrack improves fleet management with an easy-to-use, Web-based mapping interface that collects location data from all your vehicles or assets.

Considerations When Choosing a GPS Satellite Vehicle Tracking Device

If you feel that your fleet could benefit from a GPS satellite vehicle tracking device, the number of options available can quickly become overwhelming. When looking at those options, consider the following questions:

Is this for asset tracking or vehicle tracking?
If it is for asset “trailer” tracking, do you want up to 6 updates daily or do you prefer real time tracking with 2 minute updates when the trailer is tethered?
Do you need 24-hour operation or interval reporting?
Will theft recovery features, which set a job-site radius and alert the fleet manager if the vehicle leaves the site, benefit your fleet?
Do you need to monitor driver behavior or use of the fleet equipment?
Would a LIVE Premium GPS Plug-In Tracker or Hardwired GPS Tracker work best for your fleet?

The Difference Between Preview, Progressive and Predictive Diallers

Preview, progressive and predictive diallers are all technologies you might have heard mentioned in relation to call centre productivity; but what is the difference between each method?

While some technologies are confusing, there are very clear definitions here, which should make it easier to make up your mind about which to choose.

Preview Dialling

Simple in principle but potentially very useful indeed, preview dialling simply means your call centre agents can see whose number will be dialled next, giving them an opportunity to open the relevant client file or any other information specific to that person.

It introduces a necessary delay, as the operator must activate the call once the relevant information is to hand, but in certain call centres this might be a worthwhile sacrifice in return for having all of the data available in advance.

You might even want to make it possible for specific names to be skipped in the list, moving the preview dialler on to the next number without making the call, if you trust your agents to make that decision for any reason.

Progressive Diallers

A progressive dialler is the classic ‘auto dialler’ concept – when one call ends, the system automatically dials the next number, without waiting for the go-ahead from the operator.

This removes some of the risk of wrongly dialled numbers (assuming they are correct in the dialler’s database) and much of the time taken up by manual dialling.

Just be certain that your call centre agents are up to speed, so they can seamlessly transition from the end of one call into the beginning of the next, however quickly the system manages to move them on to the next person.

Predictive Diallers

Like progressive diallers, predictive diallers queue up the next call so it is ready for one of your operators to take; however, the efficiency here is taken up a notch by actually dialling more numbers than your agents would be able to handle.

That might sound strange, but a sizeable percentage of calls will go unanswered, connect to a dead line or reach a voicemail service.

By calling the right number of people at any one time, predictive diallers compensate for this by ensuring the number of live, accepted calls is close to the number of call operators you actually have available – no more hanging on a dead line.

Ofcom even accept the inevitability of a few calls going unconnected, so that some people on the customer end will receive a silent call – but good predictive diallers will minimise the risk of this, so that your call centre operates as efficiently as possible.

New Jersey Medical Malpractice Laws & Statutory Rules

New Jersey remains one of the more patient-friendly states with regards to medical malpractice statutes.

For people who are considering bringing a medical malpractice case in New Jersey, there are several important state laws that could come into play. We'll spotlight a few of those laws in this article.

Statute of Limitations - Two Years

All states have very specific deadlines for filing medical malpractice lawsuits. These time limits, called statutes of limitations, can be somewhat complex because they may contain as many as three or four separate deadlines.
In New Jersey, a lawsuit for medical malpractice must be commenced within two years of the alleged malpractice. If you do not get your medical malpractice lawsuit filed within this time period, you lose your right to sue over the incident unless you fall within one of the exceptions we'll discuss in the following sections.

The Discovery Rule

The discovery rule is an exception to the standard lawsuit filing deadline in situations where the victim could not reasonably have learned that he/she even had a medical malpractice case. In New Jersey, under the discovery rule, the statute of limitations does not begin running until the malpractice victim reasonably becomes aware of the injury, or that the injury is due to the doctor’s fault.

Statute of Limitations for Minor Children

Many states set a different deadline for minors (children under age eighteen) or their parents or legal guardians to file a medical malpractice lawsuit. In New Jersey, the statute of limitations for minor children does not begin running until the child’s 18th birthday, with one exception. A medical malpractice lawsuit for injuries sustained at birth shall be commenced prior to the child’s 13th birthday.

Other Exceptions

In New Jersey, the statute of limitations may be extended if the defendant left the state after committing the malpractice, or if the victim of malpractice was mentally ill or mentally disabled.
The New Jersey statute of limitations for medical malpractice cases can be found at New Jersey Statutes sections 2A:14-2 and 2A:14-21.

Limits on Damages

Some states have passed laws that place damage caps on medical malpractice cases. In New Jersey, a punitive damages award in a medical malpractice case is limited to the greater of $350,000 or five times the compensatory damages award. There are no other caps on medical malpractice damages.

Shared Fault Rules

In some medical malpractice cases, the defendant may argue that you are at least in part liable for causing your own injuries by, for example, failing to follow the doctor’s instructions. Any such finding will reduce or even eliminate your damage award, depending on state law.

New Jersey follows a “modified comparative negligence” rule. This means, if you are found to be in part negligent with respect to your injury, illness, or medical condition, your award of damages is diminished in proportion to your fault. If, for example, you were awarded $100,000 in damages, but were found 20% at fault, your damages would be reduced to $80,000. However, if the jury finds that your fault is equal to or greater than the defendant’s fault, then you are not entitled to recover any damages, and your case is dismissed.

Expert Affidavit

In New Jersey, the plaintiff’s lawyer in a medical malpractice lawsuit must, within 60 days after the defense attorney files the Answer to the lawsuit, file an expert affidavit of an appropriate physician stating that there exists a reasonable probability that the defendant’s care of the plaintiff fell outside acceptable professional or occupational standards or treatment practices. The physician who provides the affidavit must practice and/or be board certified in the same field or specialty as the defendant. This law can be found at New Jersey Statutes section 2A:53-27.

What Is Pleural Mesothelioma Cancer?

Pleural mesothelioma is the most common of the four types of malignant mesothelioma cancer, accounting for about 75 percent of all cases of the disease. All four types share one similar trait: They are rare and aggressive forms of cancer. That means it is important to pinpoint a diagnosis as soon as you sense something is wrong – and if you do get a mesothelioma diagnosis, you should settle on treatment options as soon as possible.

Building Customer Loyalty Will Grow Your Business Automatically

The formula for engaging with consumers to build a loyal following of advocates for your auto repair shop goes like this: Keep in touch, keep them happy, and you’ll keep them coming back — and telling others about their great experience at your shop.

Mitchell 1’s SocialCRM auto repair marketing solution has proven success in helping shops like yours build better relationships with consumers to increase loyalty and bring in more business. We help you accelerate your marketing with very little effort on your part, so you can retain existing customers and also acquire new ones.

SocialCRM offers a suite of services to automate your marketing, reputation management, social media and customer communication efforts. Reach your entire customer database with targeted email marketing campaigns, automated thank-you messages, service reminders and more. And at the same time, we’ll also share your verified customer reviews and increase your shop’s Internet visibility to help you attract new business.

Here are a few examples of how our automotive CRM software helps you connect with your valuable customers and spread the word about your shop:
  • Authentic customer reviews

  • Automated service reminders

  • Thank-you emails

  • Dedicated marketing support

  • Targeted email promotions

  • Email matching service

  • Personalized customer vehicle pages

Authentic Customer Reviews

Great customer reviews validate the excellence of your business.  With SocialCRM, you can generate more reviews at a faster rate. And that’s just the beginning. The service includes verified customer reviews and a word-of-mouth marketing strategy that encourages your happy customers to share their review with others.

Automated Service Reminders

Research shows that people are more likely to attend their appointments when they receive a  reminder. SocialCRM sends automated reminder emails to all your consumers, so you can reduce no-shows without having to manually keep track of every upcoming visit. You can use the time you save on more important tasks in the shop.

Thank-You Emails

A simple thank you can have a dramatic impact on customer loyalty. Your customer service is a critical part of your business, and that includes following up after you customer has visited your shop. SocialCRM automatically sends a thank-you email to every invoice completed every day, making it effortless to make your customers feel appreciated.

Personalized marketing support

You’ll have a dedicated marketing support agent to help customize and manage your campaigns and strategy every step of the way. No need to call us, we’ll call you on a regular basis to check in and ensure you’re getting the best possible results.

Targeted Email Promotions

Social media sites are great, but email is still where many people can mix their personal lives with their work lives. Emails give you the space to include messages and pictures in a way that is more convenient than on Facebook and Twitter. This is where you can deliver special deals directly to a customer, instead of posting something on social media and hoping that it is seen by your followers. Email marketing gives an extra edge to your auto repair shop.

Email matching service

If you’re missing email addresses for your customers, we will find them for you. We jumpstart your marketing program by doing an initial email match when you sign up, and then do a match every quarter to keep your customer database up to date.

Social Media

Engaging with customers is crucial to building relationships and a loyal customer base that will spread the word about their positive auto repair experience at your shop. The “social” part of  the SocialCRM amplifies that word of mouth through social media and search engine friendly review content to be sure that consumers find you first when they search for auto repair services.

Manager SE Integration

The SocialCRM service integrates with the Manager™ SE shop management system to give you automotive CRM tools at the point of sale. You can quickly recognized and engage with your most valuable customers when it really counts. You can be they will be impressed then you not only remember their name, but also thank them for their positive review.

OwnerAutoSite.com

Included in your SocialCRM package, OwnerAutoSite.com is a web-based loyalty service that provides your customers with personalized information about their vehicle(s) in a convenient, easily accessible website. The OwnerAutoSite.com vehicle pages are automatically created with your shop’s branding, increasing your automotive digital marketing in the process. Every customer in your database receives their own website with their vehicle’s service history, scheduled maintenance, appointment scheduling, and consumer-focused auto repair information.

Sunnier Days Ahead for Retailers that Use Cloud Computing

BRICK-AND-MORTAR RETAILERS HAVE long favored highly visible investments, such as advertising or store design over spending hard-earned income on back-office information technology. In fact, the retail industry devotes only about 1.7% of revenue to IT. Compare that with banking, which spends about 6%.

Big-box and boutique retailers alike see that e-commerce competitors continue to use technology as a means to win on price and selection, and know their customers increasingly use smartphones in-store to compare prices or search for deals.

IBM’s latest Big Data-based retail forecast suggests that some brick-and-mortar retailers are turning the tide against showrooming, a trend in which consumers look at items in a store before ultimately buying them online, usually at lower prices. In order to remain competitive and press their advantage further, brick-and-mortar stores must look to the cloud computing revolution as a way to upgrade their technology without busting their budgets.

Perhaps most important, clouds offer retailers a way to explore the potential of big data analytics to understand their customers better. In order to compete with e-tailers, retailers are tapping social networks to learn what customers are saying about them and about their competitors. Weather data is being used to influence product purchasing decisions, and merchandise promotions are organized around social events.

In many cases, brick-and-mortar retailers are even finding new data sources. Some companies are tracking movement of customers within stores and analyzing how many stop at displays to improve the effectiveness of merchandising. Others are considering installing license-plate cameras in parking lots to find out which customer is about to walk into the store.

All of these innovations make use of massive amounts of data. A cloud based solution, with elastic storage, computing and analytics capability, can make it economically viable for retailers as they dabble with these nascent approaches.

Cloud computing involves a new way of thinking about data. In a cloud, a single server can host many virtual servers, slashing hardware costs. The virtual servers can scale on demand depending on the need for computer capacity. That’s very useful for retailers, whose businesses are notoriously seasonal. Automatically expanding capacity on Black Friday, for example, can reduce lines at checkout counters and ensure quick service.

Further, the retail industry is aided by thousands of specialty software programs that are designed for various niches and needs. The average retail chain uses about 450 such applications — far more than most other industries. Naturally, those software programs get heavy use at certain times while they are shut down at others.

For instance, Planogram software, which lays out how boxes and cans are displayed on shelves, may only run once per month. Order entry systems run during the day and in the evening when shoppers are in stores and online. Inventory replenishment systems run full bore overnight. Frequently, each system is operated by a different part of the corporate organization. Managers order capacity based on the maximum use they anticipate for the system, knowing that it’s hard to expand later because of the need to authorize new capital budgets.

The result is that retailers use only about 10% to 15% of the computer capacity in their data centers. Some 85% is sitting idle at any time. Huge economies of scale could be gained by using the same infrastructure across multiple applications in a cloud-computing architecture.

Companies can either build private clouds in their own data centers, purchase dedicated private clouds hosted by infrastructure providers, or they can move their data and applications to a public cloud used by several different companies and run by infrastructure specialists.

Many companies choose to do both by using a hybrid cloud solution with some applications in the retailers’ own data center and others in the public cloud. In a public cloud, retailers only pay for the capacity they use, just like buying electricity from a public utility. Further, many retail applications can also be rented on a monthly basis as software-as-a-service.

As mobile, social and ecommerce continue to explode in popularity, traditional brick-and-mortar retailers must understand and harness the benefits of cloud computing to optimize the in-store experience, market to the individual and maximize every sale. If they don’t, they risk falling behind their competition.

Vish Ganapathy is the Director and Chief Technologist for IBM’s Global Retail business, and has more than 22 years of consulting experience working with retailers worldwide. Ganapathy particularly focuses on bridging software applications and technology that can enable retailers to differentiate themselves in the marketplace.

How to Become a Medical Lawyer: Education and Career Roadmap

In this video, we'll go over the requirements to become a medical lawyer. We'll cover the job's description and duties and see all of things needed to start a career in medical law.

Medical Lawyers

Medical lawyers work on cases that deal with medical practitioner negligence, violations of patient confidentiality, or criminal activity involving patient abuse and misuse of prescription drugs. The field of medical law is a broad discipline that falls under the practice of personal injury, medical malpractice, and health care law.

Lawyers of all kinds, including those who specialize in medical-related practice, write legal documents, research laws, present a client's case to a judge or jury, and negotiate settlement agreements. These professionals work in office settings on a full-time basis, though overtime hours are common. Some travel to meet with clients and to attend hearings.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that as of May 2015, the average salary for all lawyers is $136,260 per year.

Obtain a Bachelor's Degree

Most law schools require that applicants possess a bachelor's degree. Law students typically complete programs in economics, government, or history. Aspiring medical lawyers might consider completing a degree program in health care administration, health studies, or health humanities. These programs introduce students to the clinical, legal, and other aspects of the health care system, knowledge of which may prove beneficial when working as a medical lawyer.

Take the LSAT

To get into law school, applicants must take and pass the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Undergraduate students usually complete the LSTAT during their junior year. The LSAT is a half-day exam that tests an aspiring lawyer's critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and reading skills. Students may increase their test scores by completing a prep course that provides test taking techniques and familiarizes them with the contents of the exam.

Complete Law School

About three years of full-time study is required to complete law school. Programs emphasize basic law concepts during the first year, such as criminal, constitutional, and property law, as well as torts. In the final two years, students can take elective classes, like medical research ethics and the law, medical malpractice, and public health law. During this time, they also gain practical experience through judicial internships, medical-legal clinics, and other fieldwork. Depending on the school, students may be able to concentrate their studies in law and health sciences, health law, or biomedical law. These concentrations may cover elder law, food and drug law, science and the law, personal injury litigation, and disability law.

All states require lawyers to be licensed. To become licensed, individuals must pass a bar exam and a professional responsibility exam. The format of each state's bar exam differs, but may include multiple days of testing, through both multiple-choice and essay questions.

Preparing to take the exam by completing a prep course may increase an individual's chances of passing on the first attempt. Prep courses often last several weeks and provide instruction about the types of law tested on the bar exam.

Law firms, universities, and the government hire attorneys to handle personal injury, medical malpractice, or health care law issues. Sometimes, several years of experience is required to work in a particular specialty, such as medical malpractice. However, new lawyers can gain the expertise needed by starting their careers in document review or research roles that involve medical law.

Earn a Master of Laws Degree

Licensed lawyers can earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Health Care Law or Global Health Law. These programs often include clinical experiences or internships in addition to coursework. Classes may cover topics like law and science, health care reform law, the fundamentals of health law, and public health law. Obtaining this degree can demonstrate to prospective employers a candidate's commitment and expertise in laws relating to the medical field.

In order to become a successful medical lawyer, you need to obtain a bachelor's degree, take the LSAT, complete law school, pass the bar exam, work as a medical lawyer, and earn a Master of Laws degree.

Online School Counseling Master's Degree

Overview

School counselors can play an integral role in helping students navigate their way from grade school to high school and into college or the workforce.

"It is one of the best professions in the world. We get to work with students and see them achieve," Gail M. Smith, a school counselingdirector for the Cobb County School District in Georgia, said in an interview with U.S. News.

Smith is not alone in her enthusiasm for her occupation – more than 70 percent of educational, vocational and school counselors reported that they had high job satisfaction, according to a survey by PayScale, an online salary database and careers website.

Counselors can use student interactions and performance data to spot at-risk students before they drop out and help students with disabilities receive the learning support they need to succeed. Aspiring counselors in an online school counseling master’s degree program will learn how to help students reach their full academic potential.

Course Work

Example courses

  • Principles of educational and psychological testing

  • Family therapy theories

  • Career development and life planning

  • Child and adolescent counseling

  • Collaborative consultation in schools

Online school counseling master’s degree programs generally take about two years to finish, and usually require students to complete some offline components, such as an internship or practicum.

Core courses

An online master’s in school counseling includes courses that cover topics such as:

• Educational research

• Counseling techniques

• Learning and human development

• Career development

• Testing and assessment

Counselors often coordinate with administrators and teachers to help students with a variety of needs achieve their educational goals. Courses such as educational collaboration and multicultural counseling will help prepare future counselors to work successfully in a school setting.

Field experience

Most programs require students to complete a supervised internship so they can apply the theories and concepts learned in the classroom. An internship, practicum or similar experience is also generally required for state licensure or certification, which is necessary for employment in public schools, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Some programs may require students to come to campus for short-term residencies in addition to their online course work and in-person field experience.

Job Outlook and Salary

Once students complete their degree, they’re poised to enter one of the top 20 social service careers in the U.S. News Best Jobs rankings.

Licensing requirements

Public school counselors need a state-issued credential to practice, according to the BLS. A master’s degree in school counseling and an internship are typically required to receive a credential, which could be called a license, certification or endorsement, depending on the state.

Other requirements may include prior teaching experience, a teaching license or a certification from the National Board for Certified Counselors, which involves taking an exam. Specific certification requirements vary by state, and aspiring counselors are advised to research them on their own.

Potential jobs

While most counselors work in elementary, middle and high schools, others work in higher education institutions. They may advise students on classes and potential majors, for example.

Demand for school and career counselors is expected to grow about as fast as average for all occupations in the coming years, according to the BLS. The industry as a whole is expected to add about 31,000 jobs by 2022.

However, employment growth in educational settings could become stagnant or reduced because of state and local budget cuts.

School and career counselors earn a median salary of about $54,000, according to BLS data.

Professional associations

The American School Counselor Association offers members benefits such as networking, professional development opportunities and access to free educational resources, among other benefits.

The association’s website includes information on state licensing requirements, continuing education requirements and more. Most states host their own school counselor professional associations as well, which offer similar benefits.

Facing Criminal Charges? Contact Our NYC Criminal Lawyers Right Away

If you are facing criminal charges, you stand to lose your freedom, liberty and personal assets. The stakes are far too high to leave your criminal defense representation to just any NYC Criminal Lawyer.Whether you are facing a federal or state charge for white collar or violent crime, our NYC criminal lawyers have the skills, experience and judgment needed to help you avoid the upending experience of facing a guilty verdict and extensive prison sentence. By contrast, we can help you negotiate a workable plea bargain or engage in a trial on the merits of your case, meeting the prosecution’s evidence against you with exculpatory or mitigating evidence of our own. To get started with your representation, please contact our office right away. There is virtually no criminal case we cannot handle.

High Profile Criminal Defense

The media loves a controversial criminal case, particularly if the defendant is a celebrity or high profile individual. Managing the media during the months leading up to trial can be a daunting task, even for a defendant accustomed to the limelight.

However, our criminal lawyers in NYC have been working in high profile criminal defense litigation for decades, and we can make certain that you are painted in a positive light whenever we address the media. What’s more, we are not deterred or intimidated by the attention garnered by a high profile case and will make certain your defense is handled with poise and professionalism. By working with our criminal attorneys in NYC, you can rest assured that any details provided to the media about your case are accurate, correct and not open to interpretation.

Defense Against Major Violent Crimes

Our NYC criminal lawyers are well-versed in the New York Penal Laws as pertaining to violent crimes, and are prepared to mount a defense to your recent violent crime charge. Whether you are facing murder, assault, manslaughter or kidnapping charges. Our NYC Criminal lawyers will work overtime to protect your rights and ensure you are given a fair and unbiased trial. It is not uncommon for violent crime allegations to receive invasive media coverage, sometimes with misreported facts or unchecked assertions that may affect potential jurors’ views and create an unfair prejudice. As experienced criminal defense practitioners, we will employ tactics to work against this prejudice and help you achieve the fair trial you deserve.

Violent crimes typically involve an expansive assortment of forensic evidence. From blood samples to ballistics, we have a team of experts readily available to review your case from a microscopic level, allowing us to create a defense capable of raising that necessary reasonable doubt. Moreover, our NYC criminal attorneys are accustomed to the tactics often utilized by the prosecution to secure a victory, including shoddy police work, unlawful searches and seizures and use of questionable experts. In your case, you can rest assured we will be prepared with an argument to prevent the use of any evidence against you that does not comport with evidentiary rules, is overly prejudicial or was not collected pursuant to constitutional principles.

Non-judgmental Sex Crimes Representation

Facing a sex crime charge is a humiliating experience, and our team of professionals is ready to help guide you through the process of defending against these heinous charges and moving on with your life. Even if a defendant is cleared of a sex crime, lingering doubt tends to hover around the defendant for months or years following the acquittal. For this reason, our NYC criminal law firm will work diligently to ensure that your sex crimes defense is thorough and meticulous, digging up every detail from the incident in question and ensuring all forensic evidence is brought to light.

Drug Crimes

Drug crime legislation is changing regularly, and our criminal defense attorneys work tirelessly to keep abreast of the amendments to the state and federal drug code. Whether you are facing a misdemeanor drug crime or a major trafficking indictment, we can help mount a credible and aggressive defense to the government’s charges. Our criminal law firm in NYC is unafraid of state prosecutors and their attempts to intimidate our clients, particularly clients who are facing minor, first-time drug offenses. If rehabilitation is a better treatment option for you, we will fight for a sentence or probation condition that upholds your needs and will reduce your likely recidivism behavior. Likewise, if you are facing a major drug crime charge, particularly a drug trafficking charge under federal laws, we will fight for the lightest possible sentence as well as work to keep your legal status in the United States if a conviction would place you in jeopardy.

Fraud Charges

The number of fraud crimes in the federal and state penal codes is ever-expanding, and our office is ready to help you defeat this serious criminal charge. Wire fraud and mail fraud are often charged against our clients as an ancillary crime occurring pursuant to another alleged criminal fraud scheme. However, as our NYC criminal attorneys will explain, the prosecution must prove intent to defraud as part of its case, and mere accident or negligence is insufficient to support a charge of criminal fraud. Whether you are facing health care, banking, securities or any other type of fraud, we encourage you to contact us right away. If you are under investigation for fraud but have not been formally charged yet, our office can help secure your constitutional criminal procedure rights by ensuring your property is not searched or seized illegally without a proper warrant and probable cause. If you have already been charged, our attorneys will work to have any improperly obtained evidence excluded.

Computer Crimes

Computer crimes can include any computer theft or Internet-based offense, including unauthorized use of a computer, hacking, phishing, transmission of contraband (i.e., pornographic material) over the Internet, identity theft, unlawful email spamming, using the Internet to commit a crime and more. Our computer crimes representation has assisted clients in avoiding prosecution by making the simple argument that “it wasn’t him!” More specifically, we recently defended against computer crime allegations that were actually perpetrated by a remote hacker having accessed our client’s IP address using an unsecured wireless network. When the forensic team tracked the IP address, it came back to our client, even though he was not involved in the crime at all. Fortunately, further investigation corroborated our assertion, and our client was exonerated of culpability in the matter. For assistance with your computer crimes charge under investigation, our attorneys can use their knowledge of the intersection of law and technology to help you avoid an unwarranted conviction.

Federal Charges

Federal charges can often carry stiffer fines and penalties than the New York version of the same law, meaning you need an attorney able to effectively argue on your behalf under both state and federal statutes. NYC criminal attorney Frederick Sosinsky is admitted to practice before all New York state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Attorney Sosinsky is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, which handles appellate review of federal cases.

Contact a Reputable Attorney Today

Attorney Sosinsky is a preeminent source of criminal law defense and representation. Whether you are under investigation or surveillance or have already reached the appeals portion of your case, you can rest assured that Frederick Sosinsky will handle your case using his extensive education and legal background.

New York City Criminal Defense Lawyer Sosinsky was born in the Bronx and raised in Long Island, so he has a personal affinity for New Yorkers and a keen understanding of New York law enforcement and district attorneys. He served as a law clerk for a New York City judge and has dedicated nearly three decades of practice to defending the criminally accused. Beginning as a criminal defense attorney for the indigent and working his way up to owning his own practice, Frederick Sosinsky is an unparalleled resource for zealous and aggressive defense representation.

Our investigators have fulfilled the needs of our clients by immediately getting on the scenes of serious car accidents so that the evidence is best preserved for our later use in settling the claim or trying the case. Without the ability to preserve all evidence, we feel our clients' rights may be adversely affected.

Obtaining the maximum compensation in an auto accident case requires a significant investment on the part of your lawyers to hire the best experts. For example, if a defective child car seat, air bag or another auto part played a role in causing your injury, our lawyers will hire nationally recognized engineers and safety experts to provide the best possible court testimony about any product defect.

If we believe in your case, we will invest the money it takes to prove it. And if we are able to make a recovery for you, our lawyers will work to help you keep as much of it as possible. Our lawyers are highly effective in reducing or eliminating the ability of health insurance companies to take health benefit payments from your personal injury verdict or settlement (known as subrogation).

Taking Action To Assert Your Rights

If you or someone you love has been hurt in a car accident, contact a knowledgeable car accident attorney immediately. We offer free initial consultations in personal injury cases and you will owe no attorneys' fees unless we recover money compensation for you.

Types of Treatment Offered at Sonora Behavioral Health

When you arrive at our outpatient treatment center, you will complete a detailed admissions assessment. This process will include a physical examination, a psychiatric evaluation, and a psychological assessment. We will also collect information about your treatment history.

All of this information will provide us with essential insights into the issues that have been preventing you from living a healthier and more satisfying life. This assessment will also allow us to develop a personalized plan to ensure that your outpatient treatment experience best meets your specific needs.

Depending upon the results of your admissions assessment, your personalized outpatient treatment plan for alcohol addiction may include the following elements:

Detox: We provide medically monitored detox in our hospital. If you have been incapable of ending your alcohol abuse prior to treatment, or if doing so would endanger your health, our medically monitored detox program may be necessary. Detox is a short-term inpatient experience during which you can rid your body of alcohol and other substances of abuse. After you complete detox, you can transition directly into outpatient care for alcohol addiction.

Medication management: If you are struggling with symptoms that can be treated with certain prescription medications, you may be eligible for medication management services while in outpatient treatment for alcohol addiction.

Group therapy: Groups are the main form of treatment in our outpatient program. During your time in outpatient care for alcohol addiction you will participate in solution-focused groups. These groups are designed to help you develop specific skills that will support long-term recovery. Common group topics include the following:

Acceptance
Barriers to recovery
Coping skills
Early recovery
Stress management
Self-awareness
Relaxation
Triggers for relapse
Relapse prevention
Self-help skills

Family support: Your loved ones can play an essential role in your continued recovery. To support their efforts, we are happy to provide a variety of educational opportunities for family members and close friends.
