First Step Recovery Center is an abstinence-based rehabilitation center. We are physician-owned and -operated, and staffed by a board-certified Addiction Medicine specialist. Our clients receive a thorough evaluation of their medical, psychological, family, social, and inner-spiritual condition before a diagnosis is made and a treatment plan is recommended.
Our capabilities include medical management of addiction, including outpatient detox for alcohol, heroin, prescription opiates and benzodiazepines for appropriately selected patients. These clients are able to remain in their own homes at night during this process.
First Step Recovery Center offers a comprehensive educational program and group therapy program, including an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Individualized Treatment Programs, a Continuing Care Program, a Family Program, and a Dual Diagnosis Capable Program.
Clients and family from the High Desert, including Victorville, Hesperia, Phelan, Adelanto, Apple Valley, and Barstow will find help for addiction, alcoholism, alcohol detox, drug detox, drug addiction help, drug addiction recovery, dual diagnosis capable recovery, and drug testing.
