Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration




Conducted 100% online, the Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration prepares students for mid-level administrative and leadership positions at higher education institutions and for further doctoral studies.

The program is designed to enhance career-related leadership and will focus on student services, academic affairs and student success, enrollment management, governance and organization of higher education, contemporary issues such as information technology, resource allocation, and other administrative functions. The degree also prepares interested students for candidacy in a doctoral program in Educational Leadership or Higher Education Administration.

This degree may be completed with or without a thesis. Students seeking the M.A. in Higher Education Administration may also opt to pursue the Academic Advising Certificate or the Certificate in Higher Education Assessment and Institutional Research.
