Computer Security and Digital Forensics

Digital information is everywhere – in our homes and businesses, our financial institutions, and our critical infrastructure. We use and store data via pervasive cloud computing, network applications, social media, and mobile devices, as well as in our computers and tablets. Valuable information is often vulnerable to compromise – copying, modification, deletion, or disclosure – by malware, viruses, and highly sophisticated emerging threats such as APT and DNS cache poisoning. The laws that protect us are constantly evolving, but technology is changing even faster. Cybercrime, and even cyber warfare, are a fact of life, and the need for qualified computer security and digital forensics experts has never been greater.
