WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR COMPETITIVE TRANSFER APPLICANTS?

Competitive upper division applicants (students with 60 or more college credits earned) should have at least a 2.5 overall GPA and all the below courses completed with at least a 2.75 GPA:

Required:

Principles of Sociology (SYG 2000)
One additional Sociology Course
Introduction to Statistics 1 (STA 2023)
Note:

All courses taken to meet Competitive Admissions Criteria must be completed with a grade of C or better.
Unsuccessful attempts in courses taken to meet Competitive Admissions Criteria may lower competitiveness.
Unsuccessful attempts in additional courses in the desired major may lower competitiveness.
Out of state courses used to meet Competitive Admissions Criteria may need to be evaluated by the appropriate department upon admission.
